EXPRESS ENTRY SCORE CALCULATOR

Calculate your Express Entry score

Explore your estimated score, see what contributes to it, and email yourself a clear breakdown. This calculator uses the rules effective November 3, 2026.

1

Your personal details

Your marital status and whether a spouse accompanies you determine the points table used.

If your spouse is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or is not accompanying you, your CRS uses the without-spouse points table.
2

Your education

Select your highest assessed education level and any eligible Canadian credential. Foreign education generally requires a valid immigration-purpose ECA; count credentials at their assessed equivalency.

3

Your language skills

Enter a score for each skill. Approximate levels provide an estimate only.

4

Work experience and trade qualification

Count qualifying Canadian and foreign experience separately.

Count paid, full-time work or its part-time equivalent in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3. You must have been physically in Canada, working for a Canadian employer and authorized to work. Do not count self-employment or work gained while studying full-time.

Count paid, full-time work or its part-time equivalent in one NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupation, following the IRCC calculator guidance.

5

Additional factors

Provincial nomination, eligible siblings and qualifying job offers.

A sibling of your spouse or partner counts only when that spouse or partner is accompanying you in your Express Entry application.
The offer must meet the valid Express Entry job offer requirements: generally full-time, continuous, non-seasonal employment for at least one year after permanent residence, with occupation-specific exceptions. From November 3, 2026, an LMIA is not required for these CRS job-offer points and does not add points. The offer must be genuine, verifiable and otherwise eligible.
Canadian work-length points plus any high-wage bonus are compared with qualifying job-offer points. Only the higher of the two is counted; they are not added together.
6

Accompanying spouse or partner

For an accompanying spouse or partner who is not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Count eligible paid, full-time work or its part-time equivalent in one or more NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupations.

What could raise your CRS score

These estimates recalculate your complete score using the answers entered, so related language and skill-combination points are included.

A possible points increase is not confirmation that you qualify for the underlying factor. Language results, education, work experience, job offers and nominations must meet the applicable requirements and be supported by evidence.

This is an estimate based on your answers, not a determination of program eligibility or a guarantee of an invitation. Confirm eligibility and supporting evidence before submitting a profile.

Find your occupation

Occupation codes and titles follow the published IRCC list effective November 3, 2026. Bands do not depend on your personal salary. An occupation missing from this list receives no high-wage points; immigration-program eligibility is assessed separately. View official source
